It's A Blog Eat Blog World

I'd rather my upcoming entry and its disturbing title have the spotlight, so I'll post this now, on its own.

Today marks one year since I posted my first blog/journal entry. I linked to it in my last entry, but here it is again, in two tasty flavours: Original GameSpot, and newfangled AB.com Blog. I sure didn't write that San Andreas review. (It just so happens to be my 50th entry as well, according to the bottom of my GameSpot profile.)

In the interest of celebrating meaningless milestones, I'm going to use the occasion to make a change.

Rather than re-format and re-post every entry, have to remove swearing and other questionable content, and then edit several times when I find mistakes, I think I'll just do it once with the Blogger account, and post a link at GameSpot. And maybe TV.com or some other places I don't really visit, for whatever reason.

It might not be the best idea, since I don't think I've ever gotten a non-spam bot reply at the blog site. And I'm sure some people have a "Click a link? Up yoise!" attitude. One of my first minor attempts at photo editing was directed at people who don't click stuff. I dunno. It was rather futile.

Click Me!

It seems to have died a white-dotty death since 2002. Or maybe not. Damn GIF colour palettes.

Anyhoo. I'll give the single-post thing a try for now, and see how it goes.

A few quick things:

  • My back sucks. This is me setting a good example for the seniors, hunched over in pain:

    The pain!

  • Dead Like Me is a cool show. Showcase is finally airing the first (and apparently only) two seasons, and it's very fun. Ellen Muth is pretty cute, in a pouty, apathetic sort of way.

  • Mary-Louise Parker from Weeds (also currently on Showcase) is also cute. It's partly her character from The West Wing that I find appealing, so I guess I should find Aaron Sorkin cute too.

  • I bought Burnout Revenge on eBay, which should get here early this week, as long as dude isn't a shipping retard. Mike might lend me his PS2 network adapter, and if I can get an ethernet cable, I might finally check out the frightening world of online console gaming.

  • Still on eBay, I might sell a few things there in the next few days. Expect whoring.
