Fun With Bullet Points

  • I was checking a few of my old Yahoo! accounts for mail and messages last week, and got this IM from my brother's clever old name.

devileraser (05/21/2005 12:41:57 AM): THE PERSON THAT OWNED THIS ID DOESNT OWN IT NO MORE. I RIPPED IT FROM HIM, TY HAVE A NICE DAY

Isn't that courteous of him? Hijacking accounts, but still wishing me a nice day? A pleasant change from the norm of "DOOD UR A IDIOT BONER LOLOLOILOL;OLOLOLOLOOLOOLO @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@".

  • Still with my brother, I took him to a driving test last Thursday. On the way there, I had to put some gas in the car. At the pump next to me, a guy just kept talking about anything that came to mind. A human Livejournal, if you will. The stupid people not stopping for an ambulance, the crappy traffic lights... He started with my "rust bucket" of a car, and tried to sell me a Honda for the low, low price of $17,000. I had that much on me, of course, but I'm an uncool Toyota man.

I had to sit in the DriveTest building during the test, so I took my sister's laptop along, inefficiently trying to backup this here journal without an internet connection. Changing BBCode tags to HTML tags has never been so much fun! Unfortunately, little bro didn't pass, so I'll get to do some more of it next week.

  • God help me, I actually watched the first episode of G4's Video Game Vixens. A word of advice if you value your dignity: Don't. I didn't think the "Wow, I feel like a nerd watching this" factor could go beyond what I experienced during the live E3 shows. I was wrong.

  • ECW One Night Stand was a fun show. Not the greatest matches by any means -- Tanaka vs. Awesome being the big exception with their crazy table and chair-laden kill-Tanaka-fest -- but it was definitely a lot of fun to watch.

Psicosis definitely didn't have the best night. I think the "Put your mask on" chant was referring less to his face, as Joey Styles stated, and more to his sucking without it. And the boos for Mysterio's 619 were pretty funny. It is a ridiculous move.
The main event was also cool in a wild, locker room-emptying, bloodbath way. TNA, in the past, liked to emulate the ECW all-out brawl to end its main events. I'm not sure why theirs usually sucked. Could be the Jarrett guitar shot and win formula. Or maybe the flaming table trumps all.

  • My dog's been ill since the weekend. She's got an unpleasant case of the Mud Butt, to the dismay of the air, several areas of the carpet, and my dad and I, who've had to clean it up. I've been trying to stay up at night to keep an eye on when she needs to go out, but I can't stay awake forever. She still makes a mess when I'm asleep, because my brother and sister are either not here, or not paying attention during the day. I'm not exactly the cleanest boy in the Batcave, but I'd like to try to avoid the house gaining the stench of shit. Thankfully, she seems to be better today, at least in the frequency of trips outside, and lack of gooey stains.

  • In a fun new twist, I seem to be having hypoglycemic attack-like symptoms, without being able to to fend it off with a few cookies. I don't know if it's possible to trigger that kind of thing through dehydration or fatigue, but it seems to be what's happened a few times this week.
